I once decided to be clever and stay in on New Years Eve deciding that all the forced frivolity wasn't for me (yes, I did have a long hard word with myself afterwards). Decided I'd watch midnight cowboy instead. So there I am tucked up in bed at midnight, firewrorks going off all over, neighbours having a racous time and I'm watching one of the most depressing films ever. As you can imagine, it eft me scarred for life. Every time I hear the theme now it makes me shudder.
Anyway, I watched Easy Rider for the first time at the weekend. What a top film.
This weekend I am going to hunt out Citizen Kane as I've never seen that either.
