I thought Armando Ianucci was the best comedy dialogue writer but I just saw '4 Lions' and actually pissed myself laughing all the way through.

For dialogue it pisses on 'The Thick of It" and that is saying something. Something very rude and funny usually.

I saw 'Kick Ass'.

I'm a bit pissed so I'll try to reign it in.

The concept of the superhero is sacred to me since a kid. I get older by the day waiting for hollywood to stop fucking about and make The Dark Knight Returns or Ronin. I was ok with Watchmen.

But in my head (and a rather sad 'treatment') I always envisioned a film that realistically approached the idea of someone actually taking up the cape and what it means to be a vigilante.

This pile of teen jizz tissue is an affront to everything holy.

I could go on and on but you've got 11 year old girls doing triple pike somersaults while breaking open half a dozen heads like melons with headhots. It's everything that is wrong with america and the world. Casual murder and torture in a 'fun' way. Preposterous propositions and....

It's fucking shit ok.

I actually hate it. And I'll watch anything. As any regular reader will attest.

Watched Four Lions yesterday. Really enjoyed it. As suggested earlier, the dialogue is great. If you like Chris Morris you will like this film.

This weekend I watched:

Batman Begins - Pretty good but I don't like Christian Bale's 'batman' voice.

The Truman Show - After watching it about four times I'm still not sure whether I like it or not.

The Last House on the Left - Raaaaaaabish.

Slumdog Millionaire - Loved it

Saw at the cinema. It's really Yorkshire as well. I was pissing myself and usually I don't join in with laughing in the pictures.
