I've been asked to review pop sensation "Nite Jewel".

Anyone who has a made up name goes in " here ". Unless Her Majesty gave them their made up name. Like me, using a sterling example.

Mr Jewel has an interesting face and an inexplicable roadie bridesmaid who carries his floaty garment train.

Soon he is releasing his collaboration with DM-Funk which apparently will be partly less dirge-like than his current output.

Anyway we all know what happens to bloody collaborators.

Obviously everyone knows the next hot thing is called 'Phonk'.

Apart from Mr "Nite Jewel" we have this delightful fellow to look forward to :

What a very pleasant young man!

Already at the spearhead of this made-up-shitegeist is Sheffield's own "Kindness" who the man telling me what to do says have already featured on here in the form of a dancing remix.

The rhetoric involved here is obvious to anyone. The connection between these three is so blindly clear it actually eludes the senses.

Unless you are a music journalist on expenses at lunch that is.

Don't expect anything else for 2 weeks I've doubled my quota.

    Now kindly fuck off.

    Large HARRUMPH.
Not wanting to be outdone by a girl I have selflessly agree to be bullied into more shit by Stalin for your adolescent amusement. It happened to all the aristocracy in Russia so why not here? Expect to find my bones in a forest in a few years.

    Now I enjoy a propelling pencil as much as the next man but my imagined draughtsmanship is often stymied at the first hurdle by ;
    a. A complete black-hole-like absence of ability and b. The bleakly inevitable leadless pencil gag.

Announcing joy! There is no need at all to fear as some boffo whizz has come up with one that slowly delivers the lead as you fuck it up. In a steady nitwit-defying stream of graphite victory. Like some bonkers drawing-viagra.

    Or... use a pen.

What to make of this I do not know.

She's shifty. I'm truly glad it's just a photo and I'm not physically attending their lesbian chess tournament/cheese 'n' wine 'a' thon. I would lose in so many ways.

Now for more thrusting youthful anger music. Hold on! even I know this old baggage!

My handler/nemesis has shouted that this is a sideways take on Madvillain's "Accordion." Cherry's barked and screeched vocals make Mr. MF Doom (lovely fellow btw) sound resolutely quaint in comparison. They dip in and between the constraints of bars, time and indeed utterly defying what few sensible musical rules exist that hold the tatters of my sanity together… aaaaaand looping back to zero-in on a few of Doom's lines to invent what passes for a refrain these days. The mounting jazzmess only adds to the hideous sheer duration of the thing. If you are hoping (or as I was ; praying fervently) for jolly random chirrups of "Gigilo… huh... Suckah" or indeed any peace from the burning hell of modern existence then you'll be frankly disappointed to death. Suicide is the only sensible choice.

Goodbye cruel world. Until next week.
