Yep....used the sink though. Wasn't any instructions but sussed it out. Sandpaper inner tube around the puncture, glue it and cover with rubber thingy in repair kit.
Clever Noddy.

Re: Wookie's World of the Criminally Mundane
Isn't it easier just to buy a new innertube these days? Or is this one of those lost arts you're trying to preserve for future generations?

Re: Wookie's World of the Criminally Mundane
All cough syrups and some period pain relievers have dextomethorphanhydrobromide in you know
I'll google the spelling in a mo
Anyway. IF you drink 2 bottles of night nurse it turns you into a form of lizard for about 48 hours
1980's highs for cheap
No I'm not on it sadly.

Re: Wookie's World of the Criminally Mundane
You'll find that most over the counter ailment reliefs have got some proper naughties in, just not enough to make it worth the while. Plus, if you did get enough in you to have the desired effect all the other shit that is in them would kill you (I don't know why I'm telling you this, it's like reading the new testament to Jesus).

I'd be proper sick after two bottles of night nurse.
We once made Benzocaine in pharmaceutical chemistry practical at Uni. Walked round with a numb face for a weekend. Not funny.
