I went to Whitelocks in Leeds on Sat.

It's one of the oldest city pubs in England. It's pronounced whit-lock to the southerns.

Nearly empty on a Saturday night. Shameful.

The farm up the road has started making it's own line of preserves and condiments.

Bad for your eyes is that, you crazy loon.

I visited Osberton Hall on saturday. We used to get invited to the farmers christmas party there each year when I was a child and I used to slide down the banister.

It has the largest collection (outside of a museum) of stuffed birds in Britain.

They recently sold a book from its library for £300K

A former owner, Mr Foljambe, wanted to build a lake but was told by the water authority that he could not divert the local river in order to create his lake, so he did it secretly one night. So i am told.

The previous owner was Tony Budge. His son used to own someTanks. He may still do, I havent seen him in ages.

If you think about it?,a woman's bicycle frame should be a mans?,coz there's less chance of catching ones goolies?.

My brother has bought an electric bike,he wanted a mobility scooter .

I've been secretly spying on my mate Kevin on Facebook,I caught him talking to an old flame the other day,and sent him this poem relating to the conversation he had(she's a copper).

'Sophie,oh Sophie, with cheekbones so high,we were once nearly lovers, but that day has passed by.

I spoke to you on Facebook, the first time in years, your story of childbirth nearly had me in tears.

So witty and clever, your company i have missed, and I cherish the moment,of the first day that we kissed.

Together we may be?,again?,who knows, and I admire the way, that you catch those peados.

And I'm sorry for the time, that I left you for Lottie, because it was you,all along, that really was my hottie'Smile.

    I'm in Eastbourne this weekend.

    My wife is at crufts.

I look a bit like stan laurel,ok,I admit it.

The first 4 notes of Beethoven's 5th spell out the letter 'V' for victory in morse code.

The opening of the theme tune to 'Some Mothers Do Ave Em' also spells out 'Some Mothere Do Ave Em' in Morse code.

    Fascinating.

    Today is the Spring Equinox.

On the equinox, night and day are nearly exactly the same length – 12 hours – all over the world. This is the reason it's called an "equinox", derived from Latin, meaning "equal night".
