Best film I've seen in ages. Amazing acting (all Aussies playing Irish, English, Scottish... impeccable accents I had no idea) , half of it in 19th Century Gaelic, incredible photography and locations of the Tasmanian rainforest, true and harrowing story I've never even heard rumour of....

It's no musical.

Buy it.


Now I have to watch Iron Man 2 again, just to avoid nightmares...

An average affair I may say

Although the acting wasn't bad

And there's some good nasty Nazi moments!

You can't beat a good Nazi as a film baddy!

Loads of Nazis and rapists... there are some pretty nasty people in that film!

In all seriousness, I think men (proven by this forum, so it's science yeah?)are obsessed with nazis.

I think there is a graph waiting to show the correlation between our forum and how quickly the word Nazi pops up. I know Tim and Rog will be peaks, they love a good nazi more than anyone.

Are we talking about a good nazi in the sense of the media constructed 'good nazi' that usually appear in fillums (like the officer in "The Pianist") ? or that we just like nazis? which we don't. The only time i ever started a fight was with a self confessed nazi. I was (and may still be I guess) in the Anti Nazi League in the 80's so that throws your graph RIGHT out mate


Just to take the official line for the VVWI forum. Real Nazis = Very Bad Indeed. Comedy Nazis = Not good also, unless they are extremely funny and satirical.


OK. Glad we cleared that whole nazi thing up, as they may have said at the Nuremburg Trials.

I can't remember the name of the guy but I think he was one of the people who invented the interweb but he made a law or ratio that says the longer a forum/internet argument goes on the closer it gets to the point where someone is likened to hitler/nazis. Apparently it always happens.

I'll use his interweb machine to find out....

Watched 'Get Him to the Greek' on the plane on Friday. Thought it was funny. However, if you don't get Russell Brand, you will hate it.

I pre-hated it so I'm glad it wasn't wasted hate.
