Nod can you stop your pops at Bishop please. I know you don't mean anything by it it's just getting a bit thin. The forum is enough of an in-joke already.
Thanks!

Re: Prof HAWTIN'S POPULAR SCIENCE THREAD
I saw a Meteor in the sky on Saturday night, the one thats been in the news.
At first I thought wow thats a fucking amazing firework, then I realised it was travelling literally miles across the sky in front of my eyes and then thought fuck is that a UFO?
Turns out it was a meteor.

Anybody watch the BBC2 program on Satellites last night
http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=3&ved=0CD8QFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.co.uk%2Fiplayer%2Fepisode%2Fb01f6qpq%2FIn_Orbit_How_Satellites_Rule_Our_World%2F&ei=I39wT-SbHcPsOcf88PIF&usg=AFQjCNFjB4TmxY_cEh9XifpdzVOfSUtxGQ
I caught a little bit of it and it looked okay. Might give it a go on iplayer tonight.

Re: Prof HAWTIN'S POPULAR SCIENCE THREAD
When she talks 'normally' to people on it she talks incredibly fast but it's intelligible.
She's been told by the BBC to talk in chunks. It is so unnatural and alien to her and the listener it actually makes her nonsensical.
Besides I want my modern science presenters to look like supermodels. Brian Cox has spoiled it for everyone.
