"Ziba Viva / Monk"
Richard Seeley
Veryverywrongindeed Recordings - VVWI024
Release Date: 17 May 2010
1. Ziba Viva
2. Monk [Make The Kids Dance Mix]
About:
Richard Seeley is VVWI's most faithful and frequent associate artist and our brightest star. From humble beginnings as a label, we put Richard out as our first release and he very much set the standard and tone for us and our sound. The man who put the 'D' in unstable, Richard has had a wonderful rise over the past couple of years... he has gone from Dunstable to London's Uber-club Matter (for our VVWI flagship quarterly events there) to being the toast of Berlin with his work for Radio Slave's Rekids Label.
Now Richard returns home with two absolute blinders: Ziba Viva and Monk. As a whole this package of tuneage finds Richard in a Spring mood as he takes a few shuffling steps into the light. Richard has always been one of our darker artists and let's be honest, these are not jolly polkas but in relative terms this is Seeley at his most accessible. Which is somewhere to the left of Radio Slave and to the due south of normal.
We will let the music do the talking and merely insist that if the curve of Richard and VVWI's comparative imaginary graph of quality was real... it would be soaring and peaking at the top of our game with this one.
Welcome back Richard!
The VVWI Team

Richard. Im no expert, im a country bumpkin, and think the grumbleweeds are well fashionable, but these tracks are bang on mate.
Ziba Viba is immense.
Monk, is well odd and strange and ace.
