You're really limiting yourself mate. There are some ace black and white films out there.

Wookie's don't do monochrome. How Chewbacca put up with Han's outfit for so long i will never know.

Re: FILM REVIEWS... and why not
Can Wookies even see in colour? I'd imagine their vision to be like that of a dog, or a bear, or Sasquatch (if it was real).
I'm sure SON would be able to help out here

Re: FILM REVIEWS... and why not
great B&W films you are missing out on
1/ Citizen Kane (widely considered the best ever made)
2/ The Artist (recent Oscar winner)
3/ The Elephant Man
4/ Raging Bull
5/ Rumblefish
and WIngs of Desire which in my top 5 ever
none of them are 'old' apart from Kane.

Producer 'this screenplay is shit'
Script writer 'have you though about making it in black and white?'
Producer 'fuck me, we've got an oscar winner here'

Re: FILM REVIEWS... and why not
Looking forward to seeing the Hobbit next weekend. I've heard that the first part is a bit slow though. Reckon it'll still be better than most films I've seen.

Re: FILM REVIEWS... and why not
I'm annoyed cos it's on now but only in 3D.
I've decided I don't like 3D.

Re: FILM REVIEWS... and why not
Apparently the 3D is pretty intense as well. I've seen some reviewers say they've gone a bit too far with it.
I was just looking to book some seats at the Odeon Leicester Square next weekend. Fuck me, it's expensive.

Re: FILM REVIEWS... and why not
I haven't even seen Lord of the Rings yet, so the chances of me subjecting myself to the Hobbit, which looks pish by the way, are non-existent.

Re: FILM REVIEWS... and why not
Although not seeing any film that is B&W is pretty up there as belligerent for the hell of it.
