You're really limiting yourself mate. There are some ace black and white films out there.

Wookie's don't do monochrome. How Chewbacca put up with Han's outfit for so long i will never know.

Can Wookies even see in colour? I'd imagine their vision to be like that of a dog, or a bear, or Sasquatch (if it was real).

1/ Citizen Kane (widely considered the best ever made)

2/ The Artist (recent Oscar winner)

3/ The Elephant Man

4/ Raging Bull

5/ Rumblefish

and WIngs of Desire which in my top 5 ever

none of them are 'old' apart from Kane.

Looking forward to seeing the Hobbit next weekend. I've heard that the first part is a bit slow though. Reckon it'll still be better than most films I've seen.

Apparently the 3D is pretty intense as well. I've seen some reviewers say they've gone a bit too far with it.
