Yeah, it was good. Arrived at 6.15, seated by 6.16 so that was most pleasing. Though it was a bit quieter than usual, most probably due to the torrential rain.

We had Pulled Pork and coleslaw, half a rack of St Louis ribs, Mac & Cheese and onion rings, with fries and some cracklings on the side. It was very nice indeed. Great service, good atmosphere and great food. I will be back again soon.

Then went to the Maven for cocktails. My first one was lovely, the second was so strong i could barely finish it. I did though, cos i am well 'ard (and it cost £8 so no way was i leaving that)

It was a great weekend, really enjoyed it.

I'm sold on the Red's BBQ thing. Will have to take the good lady along. She loves a rack of ribs.

I bet you send American style ones of you and the CMD sat in front of a christmas tree in matching jumpers.

I still have some unopened ones in my draw that were sent to me last year.

Fuckin ell you did well there. I went on Thursday for 7.30, couldn't get a table til 9 and didn't get served til 9.45.

Aside from that the food was OK, I had the Pulled Pork too. Will go back to sample something else cos it all looks good.

Had major meat sweats and pork farts the next day Very Happy

Yeah we definitely got lucky. We only had to wait 10 minutes before the food came too. God bless the rain! I reckon with it being the week before payday that helped too.

I strongly recommend the Pit Burger if you are feeling peckish. It's a tad messy but it's well worth it.

    This wekend.

I got unexpectedly twatted on friday, which pretty much wrote saturday off.

I then froze on cleethorpes beach yesterday whilst riding a horse. There was snow and ice on the beach. The mulled wine was nice after though. Very Happy

I got shit faced all weekend though the missus put me to shame with her boozing.

I plan to do the same this weekend as it's the annual Cocktails and Dreams night at Mikes house. Festive fun for all the family.
