i thought you would of done arctic training in the army?

It doesn't make you immune to cold anymore than weapons training makes you bulletproof.

They do but it is "real" i.e tips from "reality" rather than television.

I went in the water with 4 thin layers on and thermals so all I had to do was keep moving when I came out.
