yeah had a few drinks, had stinking hangover yesterday, gonna go back to no drinking for a few weeks again

I'm a machine. I'm very pleased with myself. Once I gave up booze anything else was easy. Especially fags.

I am human and every weekend without booze or other substances is basically a challenge to find things to keep me occupied.

Oh aye it has to go somewhere.

I just get addicted to walking. Has to be more miles everyday until I hurt myself and can't do it anymore. Then I get better and start again.

It's a very familiar pattern I've noticed

I like walking but the cmd won't go out unless it's +20°C and you're within spitting distance of civilisation.

When we visited Yosemite we were out on the trail and there was a sign saying 'caution you are now entering the wilderness' i.e. 'there is no McDonalds, your fat people trolleys won't fit and there are a few wild animals kicking about'. This was enough for her to do an about turn.

It's not going for a stroll! it's walking as fast as you can for at least an hour.

It's not a social activity. If the missus can keep up you aren't doing it right or you've not given her enough portage to bear

So why don't you just go jogging then?

No, the question is why don't jogger's just walk fast instead of looking like cunts.

I kept pace with two joggers up in Yorkshire in Jan. I can't see the point of it, Run or walk. There is no 'jog'. It's a word invented by people who can't run.

Have you ever seen competitive walkers? I would say they look like bigger cunts than marathon runners with their wiggly walks.
