I got the DVD. You are quite right. And I have never liked zombie films.

Louis Theroux in the Miami mega-jail was an enjoyable, if somewhat disturbing programme. That prison seemed as close to hell as being incarcirated could be. The guards may as well not have been there. And i didn't trust that skinny kid in glasses one little bit, there was more to him than met the eye.
Makes Strangeways seem like a holiday camp, though they tend to use the phrase dirty protest quite a bit, which always raises a titter.

That's weird it's the only bit of TV I've seen lately.
All jails that incarcerate proper criminals are hell. I'd like to see him go into one in Brazil and "ask a few polite questions". Or Russia. That would be telly.

Also watched this and thought pretty much the same thing, fucking awful place to be, imagine how bad it would be if you got stuck in there and you were innocent!
That speccy lad did say that whatever had happened was overtly violent, so he obviously did something pretty bad.

I don't know if it's the use of quotation marks or the 'the rock band' but it was my first laugh of the day
I thought Adam Curtis had stopped making documentaries since Charlie Brooker started copying him in a lowbrow way and all of a sudden POOF! he's back and opening your head with a tin can opener.

Re: The Magic Box of Phosphers
Dan Cruickshank did a pretty good thing on city parks on BBC 4 last night.
I also like that 4 rooms thing where people try to sell on art that they've bought.
I have started to wade through 30 episodes of twin peaks as I never watched it the first time around. It's not looking good though. I watched the first one and a half episodes and fell asleep.

I nearly threw a shoe at the telly. Totally neglected to mention that Leeds has a series of parks and walks that mean you can walk from the city centre to the yorkshire dales and never see a building. A monumental undertaking.
Bloody LOndon-centric claptrap.
liked it.
