Stephen Fry is about 5th on my Room 101 list. If we wanted Enid Blyton's view on fucking modern writing, we'd ask Timmy the fucking dog - and unlike those two he'd have actually read and understood a few fucking recent novels and poets. Plus that fake humility thing Fry and Truss both do makes me mental. Plus Fry is always boostering fucking Apple products in the Guardian, and it's not like the Guardian's "deal" with Apple wasn't already "Mr Jobs, please snort these poppers so I can jam my head another esctatic three inches up there". And then there's Fry's cab: the only reason to drive cars on TV is because they have guns on the roof and knives on the wheels and you are Mad Max out looking for Tina Turner, not because you're a continually bemused sub-Wildean halfwit out looking for locals to patronise.
