I've managed to squeeze yet another week out of this temping malarky.

It's pay day.

I have just had bacon sarnies.

The good lady is better after being a bit ill of late.

I'm back in the studio tomorrow to finish, yes finish a track that i'm really pleased with.

Things are coming together.

Anyone who knows me will know this level of positivity is unheard of.

I have just bought some decks, mixer, amp and speakers. I all ready have some old school record. Got it all set up last night and attempted to play a set for the missus. Was great fun but sounded pretty shocking for the most of it. First step complete. Next step is to invest in some decent house/techno records!!

what decks did you get?

They have got a few years on them so don't laugh. Plus I'm just starting out so didn't want to bankrupt myself. They are Numark TT-100 Direct Drive. I'm hoping they will do to start off, got a good deal.

i had a pair of soundlab direct drives when i first got mine

and a kam mixer

My mixer is the Numark M2.

I have got a pretty basic set up at home and am still learning. I can make some pretty horrific noise come out them speakers.

Tis good fun though.

My mother bought mine! They were the two tops of two wholes with not even a half a mixer!

Straight into Richer sounds after christmas for some belt drive Arastos or sommin then onto The technical shit! And Kam it was!

Couple of other and a Rackabak whaterver the fuck that was some steam! Pipes and a pansy! They don't make em aenny more!
