She's probably had 3 kids, written a novel and is enjoying retirement in the Cotswolds.
Because she is small she has an accelerated live cycle you see.

Like a mouse? Does that mean you can also throw her out of a plane and she won't splat when she hits the ground?

It was times like this when the ladies would usually appear and put everything right. I fear what may happen without them around.

Re: TUMBLEWEED
Stokes law...A creature such as a mouse falling at its terminal velocity is much more likely to survive impact with the ground than a human falling at its terminal velocity.

Todays quote of the day on the BBC website:
"Thomas Anderson (1819-74) was the first person to discover what turnips are made of.
One who is proud of ancestry is like a turnip; there is nothing good of him but that which is underground. SAMUEL BUTLER (1835-1902)"
A fitting piece for your return, i'm sure you will agree.

Have your work done a wedding shower type collection for you? Mine did when i got married all those years ago. I went really red and didn't invite any of them to the wedding or night do.

Yep, just had that one. Disturbed a meeting to come in and hand me two presents and a card. As in your case, none of them are invited to any of the festivities. I did thank them graciously though.

I was just happy with the extra day off they gave me the day before the wedding. It's the little things.
