I finally saw Panorama last night.
Is it just me, or does anyone else hate Paul Gambicini?

Carter. Hates him now.
I can see why.
I've always hated him though.

I have never liked the way TVAM/Daybreak/This Morning wheel him out every time a singer dies and he says how they were the best thing ever/so badly missed/voice of a generation bollocks (Jackson/Winehouse/Murrs - we can but wish)

I don't like any pundit/rent-a-gob/self proclaimed authority.
He's firmly in the Dennis Norden, Johnathon King, David Frost set of cunts.
But American. Urg

Re: The Magic Box of Phosphers
Another ace BBC4 documentary fronted by Rich Hall 'Inventing the Indian'.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01nqbqk
A very tragic and pretty unbelievable story of how the real 'native American' was all but wiped from history.

Re: The Magic Box of Phosphers
I've started watching 'Heroes' and I've just noticed it's 78 episodes long.
I'm enjoying it so far. Is it worth carrying on to the end? 78 episodes is a big chunk of my life.

it started off well, the first couple of series are good, then it went into conspiracy territory and i even think the writers got bored of it, shame really, it had everything to be a really good series.

Re: The Magic Box of Phosphers
Actually it got axed. Which was a big thing in America. Lots of protests.
Defo worth watching, more so if you are armed with the knowledge that it won't resolve.
Which is fine, The Prisoner leaves more questions than it answers but is a great series.

I shall definitely proceed then.
Did anyone on here watch lost the whole way through? I got to the end of the first series and gave up.

Re: The Magic Box of Phosphers
Even if something is shit I'll watch it just to enjoy the anger.
i.e Prison Break. 1st series? great 3rd series? ridiculous.
I really liked Lost even if it is just The Prisoner re-vamped. It was like watching a puzzle. No matter how daft there had to be an answer. I enjoyed guessing the daftness.
I mentioned The Prisoner twice there. And I meant it
Lost was never going to be a satisfying resolution. There should be some sort of of GRAPH (Ballz) where the longer a mystery goes on the less likely it is to end well.

At the bottom end of the graph should be knock-knock jokes. As the simplest and quickest of mysteries.
