I'm guessing here but I bet all the improvisation has gone. I knew by about half way through they now had a team of writers in (septic style) instead of Ianucci and the cast. It had no pace at all it was frantic and trying too hard instead of the stately semi-realism it used to have. Trying to cram in as many gags as possible is a crap americanism. Also trying too hard to mimic Ianucci's style but getting it dead wrong. You can call someone an 'omnishambles' in the middle of a rant and it is ace. But making almost every other phrase in that style was just unrealistic and shit.

I hope Ianuccio is getting loads of hookers and coke in america to justify my pain

However I believe they are alternating so he's only in it every even number.

The idea is that everywhere in America has these massive compounds full of storage units where people can store personal effects for whatever reason. From time to time these 'lockers' as they are called come up for auction as the renters stop paying their bills. During the auctions the doors are thrown open, all you can do is view from outside and they go to the highest bidder. Some of the suff that's found in them is amazing. Proper addictive viewing.
