Actually dull factoid but there aren't that many outdoor pools left but I am a member of 2 of the best examples of art deco splendour at Ilkley and Brockwell (Brixton). Strange co-incidence I've lived next to both.
Look if water is more than about a foot deep it is fucking sub zero whatever the altitude.
I should have clicked that there was only 2 other fools in it and both of them had wetsuits on.
Both used the word 'brave' in the changing rooms but made it sound a bit like 'idiotic'. I was bright red tits to toenails.
On the plus side your skin goes so tight I nearly resembled my non-fat self for about 20 mins.
On the down side my winky went inside out

Tim, do you have one of those all in one striped bathing suits?
Victorian bathing, it could be the new London 'scene'. I'm off to write a piece for the Guardian right now!

I can see you are looking mainly at the temporary facelift applications there doctor.
Yes it's very true in fact I have to say nearly 3 hours later and the luggage under my eyes is more like two handbags than the usual full trunks.

How do you manage in a studio then? Is your studio steam driven?

it's true I don't really push buttons anymore.
I can. But I'm painfully slow.
I get up to speed with CuBase and suddenly they bring out protools. I learn Sibelius 4 and by the time I have it down Sibelius 7 is out and all the functions have changed.
