He is the KING of the over actors. I really cannot stand to watch him.

He is. Although I have to say he can be great. Leaving Las Vegas for one. But since he started worrying very overtly about his hair loss he's lost it. And so's his Barnet. You could be accused of the bleedin obvious also but why not!

Man I tell you Wesley Snipes is the kiss of death for any film.

If Snipes is in it, it will fail.

    I nominate Snipes.

I look back very fondly towards the hating Danny Dyer years.

We watched Hugo in 3D last night.

Don't know what I was expecting as I hadn't read much about it, but I really enjoyed it. It's a pleasant tale.

One amusing point was the accents. The film, for those who haven't seen it, is set in Paris. But rather than everyone having French accents they all speak the Queen's English. This is clearly down to the fact that the septics couldn't understand a French accent. It doesn't detract from the film though.

The 3D was brilliant. Rather than just convert a normal film into 3D you could see it was filmed with 3D in mind.

    Worth a viewing.

This weekend I will be watching 'Paris is Burning'. I have high hopes.

I don't think they captured the book (mind you, when do they ever?) and the choice to make the film sort of "is it real or is she imagining it' a bit of a liberty.

The point of the book being that kids can be totally evil and only show it to one parent. For real. There was a lot of fuss about the book and I think they took that option so as not to offend america. It goes in the same category as Inglorious Basterds being almost ruined because 'Quentin' bad boy Tarantino didn't have balls to spell bastard properly. Endless slaughter in the film? not a prob. Beat a bloke with a bat til his head explodes? HELL YEAH. Spell bastard properly? NO CHANCE No

Film is great stand-alone thing though defo mate.

I find Tilda Swinton a bit of a fruity old ham but by far the worst ladyham is :

Went to the cinema to see Dark Shadows yesterday. I'm a massive Johnny Depp fan but this film let me down badly. Avoid at all costs. Cheap jokes and a ropey plot.
