SEAN DANKE - Bobby
The latest instalment from UK based digital label Revolucion Records brings the highly anticipated debut on the label for Icelandic star Sean Danke with his excellent underground cut "Bobby". The superb Original is accompanied by remixes from Morrocan based Dj and producer Adil Hiani, Revolucion's very own Ibiza based artist Luciano Nieto and Iranian based production outfit RedDub finishing things off.
Although originally born and bred in Iceland, Sean now finds himself residing in the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. A true underground hero with a long history of producing quality underground house and techno tracks stretching back to 1995, he has seen his work appearing on numerous labels during the last 15 years. As the owner of a record shop and the brainchild behind countless parties over the years he is considered by many as the man largely responsible for creating the healthy clubscene that exists in Reykjavik today. Known both as an excellent producer and remixer Sean is also a well respected Dj in his own right and over the years has shared the dj booth with many leading names from Sasha, Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg, Nick Warren, and Steve Lawler through to Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Layo & Bushwacka and many more.
First up the superb "Original Mix" is sure to get the dancefloor throbbing with its deep tech house grooves, the bouncing beats working perfectly with the subtle vocal dropping in and out and the filtered chords in the main drop plucking up the floor brilliantly on the near perma-loop. Up next "Adil Hiani's Bobby Attack Remix" shows just why Adil is making a name for himself as one of Morroco's leading lights, taking things onto a harder groove with its growling bassline and warm chords that just cruise along with a relentless pumping feeling into the drop and percussion that just keeps you moving, but watch out for the dog.. The "Luciano Nieto" remix keeps the bar high from the original, with puchy stabbing beats from the off building the rhythm into the break. The clever use of the vocal teasing into the straight forward kick its sure to go down well with fans of the Villalobos sound. And rounding things off the "RedDub Remix" is certainly one for those 3am moments with its trippy haunting chords, sharp hats and a nice throbbing bassline, very much a brooding remix made specifically for the dancefloor.

EMANUELE DI SANTE - Mekong
Mekong (Original Mix) 06:46
Mekong (Daox Remix) 08:39
The next release from the Revolucion stable brings the debut release on the label from Italian based Dj and producer Emanuele Di Sante with his superb cut Mekong, perfectly showcasing the deep tech house sounds that he is known for in his native homeland alongside a superb underground remix from Moroccan based star Daox.
Having first found his love of house music back in the nineties in his native Italy, Emanuele purchased his first set of turntables at the tender age of 13 and quickly gained himself a solid reputation for his stylish sets despite his age. After crafting himself a career as resident Dj of numerous clubs along the Adriatic coast he then began to make the natural progression onto production which saw his first release snapped up by Emotiva Records. Since then Emanuele has his music released on several labels including Superbis Recordings, Electrofane Records in Canada, Groove Sense Records and now of course Revolucion. The future will see Emanuele continue his rise to the top with his own brand of underground
tech house with both his original work and remixes.
Starting things off the "Original Mix" is perfect for those 3am moments and sure to keep the dancefloor buzzing, a quality deep tech house cut with flowing beats and whooshing sounds throughout. A slow burner of a track with its beautiful pads and quirky noises sneaking in and out making it perfect fodder for those underground sounding dancefloors. Backing this up the excellent "Daox Remix" is equally as impressive and again perfect for when you are looking for that underground sound. Keeping inline with the original it keeps the dancefloor moving with its shuffling drums patterns and stubby bass which chugs along all the way through, bringing you underground tech house beats Moroccan style..

RR035
ERICK HERNANDEZ - MARATHON ep
Marathon (Original Mix) 09:26
Gothic (Original Mix) 07:54
Fantasia (Original Mix) 06:48
After a highly successful 2010 the Revolucion crew are all set to kick off another new year in fine style with the follow up release from Miami based label artist Erick Hernandez with his excellent "Marathon ep". Carrying on from where he left off with his debut release back in December Erick brings another 3 superb underground cuts of deep tech house beats to the table with this latest instalement.
After already crafting a name for himself as one of the major players among the underground Miami scene, Mexican born Erick is now starting to make waves beyond the east coast with his productions, the superb deep tech house beats of his previous release finding flavour with a whole host of leading Djs such as Roger Sanchez, Farfa, Randall Jones, Chloe Harris, Federico Epis, Kasey Taylor and many more. With his second 3 track ep in as many months Erick demostrates just why he is currently so sought after as both a producer and remixer, he will certainly be a name to look out for in coming months ahead featuring heavily on the Revolucion release schedule with his own productions and remixes.
Kicking off proceedings the title track "Marathon" is a big tech house groover that is sure to keep the dancefloor hooked into the groove with its tidy drum patterns, rolling layered beats and simple vocal snippets that work perfectly together to create a track perfect for underground. Up next "Gothic" keeps things going along a nice deep techy vibe, with its infectious bass led groove, percussive interjections, sharp hats and toms and subtle vocal creating an tech house cut that just builds and builds into an ass shaking groover. Rounding things off "Fantasia" takes things into a much deeper territory, perfect for those 3am moments on the dancefloor with its deep haunting bassline and echoing female vocal throughout taking you on a melodic journey.
