Monkey Tennis
A thread where the bizarre, the wonderful and the downright ridiculous are combined in a mildly comic manor to create a gentle titter of laughter. Short lived yes, but a titter all the same. Lets be honest, it's not disimilar to that other thing. I'll start you off:

The blind leading the blind. A moving documentary based in Sheffield. David Blunkett takes Stevie Wonder around Meadowhall shopping for beads. For his hair (Stevie's, not Blunketts, though in an amusing segment Stevie talks him in to getting tramlines shaved in to the side of his head). Datza nice & Fresh.

Waterworld. Kevin Costner stars in an aquatic romp set in the future. Unplanned nonsense and Hilarity ensues.
Actually, i've gone too far, that is possibly the worst idea ever.

if you ADD ENOUGH loud DRUMS. and STRESS WORDS like the voice of DOOM and edit things HARSHLY... television "documentaries" from america ARE EASY to spot... even if you get DAME KENNETH BRANAGH to re-do the voice over.

Counts down. Boris Karloff & Vincent Price look back on some of their favourite bungee jump moments.
Count Downs. This is just a title at present though the chances of it being commisioned are very slim.

I don't know much about telly but I bet Countdown was on when this happened.
I thought Twice Nightly Whitely was dead? And Vordemort was wafting about on 'proper' telly.
