Its looking that way at the moment, though the UK lads are currently more than holding their own.

I'm not at all pleased with all the tattoos I'm seeing at the 'Lympicz. Very common.

They stuffed up their 4th dive. No medals today, but I was right about the Chinese getting gold.

I'm loving the Lympicz but I have to say :

    1. Heart-hands. No!

    2. That stupid official font. What are they thinking? I honestly never thought I could get annoyed by a font.

    3. How gay is the syncro diving? Very Happy

    5. The phrase 'Team GB' as both a phrase and a horrific americanism is making me ill.

Also not enough coverage of the pipe smoking and hat doffing.

The CMD knows I find 'heart hands' offensive and now takes every opportunity to do it to me. I give her double fingers in reply Smile

I would love us to get a gold medal at some point soon, though massive props to the Gymnastics team, that wasn't expected at all. Anyone else feel sorry for the Japanese gymnast who quickly becamse the most hated person in London?

    No? Me neither.

My Dad got in a large strop with me because I said we were lucky we got a shot at silver, bronze is still way more than we could have hoped for and it was easy-come-easy-go and he proper schtomped off Very Happy

I'd say after a 100 year wait we should be more than happy with any sort of medal. I honestly wouldn't have thought they would make the final, let alone the top 3.

Yes but silver was in their grasp. I didn't know there was an appeals system in gymnastics. I'm surprised more don't use it. In for a penny in for a pound and all that.
