That reminds me, I've not had my chocolate today.

We need to get a tree. We're the only people on our street without decorations up. The CMD is putting a massive guilt trip on me.

We put two of these up last night

They're Nordman Firs, very nice tree. Don't shed their needles if correctly watered.

We've got a 6ft6 in the dining room and a 4 ft in the front room bay window. It's all looking very festive.

I always think it looks really sad when you have one jazzed up room, and then another which is pretty bare. It's like the room that Christmas forgot Sad

I like Christmas to follow me round the house Smile

Did you help with the tree decorating? Or just get in the way?

I've never bothered getting involved with all that, as i used to get it wrong. Whether that was on purpose or not is a well guarded secret (it was)

One of the lads at work had to go with his girlfriend to buy a special bauble as it was their first christmas living together. Apparently this is normal practice? I have never heard of it.

    I helped, by going out.

Mrs Bish wanted a special bauble for our first christmas. I told her she could buy what she wanted with her money.

I retreated to the back room and watched recorded episodes of the Simpsons while decorating was ongoing. If I got involved I would get it wrong. If anyone else but the CMD got involved, they would get it wrong. She tends to have a very clear vision when it comes to decorating and such like. This si a vision which must be shared by everyone else, otherwise death will ensue Smile

We don't have a special bauble.
