In response to another thread, and pre world cup, let's have an outpouring of good honest patriotism and celebrate everything in the world that we are best at. I'll get the ball rolling.

It's a very english thing to say we are the best when we are not. It's a colonial hangover.

Loads of nations are quite humble compared to the west.

I forget which ones are humble by nature. Probably cos they are humble

I don't mind the others so much, but as much as like the Brazilian Drum and Bass producers, there are nowhere near as many as what we have and they are inconsistant. They had a bit of a purple patch but Marky and they boys have struggled of late.

I spent a good chunk of my nights at Movement, the Brazilians were a breath of fresh air but The Brits do rule.

Although again.... in a very specialised field




I think in Europe it is the Danes who have a sort of national humility where it is considered very Un-Danish to big yourself up or put your head over the parapet.

I have a theory that the older a culture is, the more relaxed the nation is about themselves. Starting at the top with Aborigines and working down to Americans (who are deranged)

It's highly debatable feller. If we are the best who can say how long for? The scene is growing fast...

Aye true, i guess alot of the younger producers who would have been knocking out fresh stuff have turned to dubstep. Mind you, i know dubstep is gaining a lot of popularity in South America too.

It goes in cycles.
