Re: Who will surface first?
Herro.
I had a few swills on Friday, quiet one Saturday & Tech/Asylum Fav garden party on Sunday.
I feel pretty good today. I did leave the Fav pretty early on Sunday - there were so many idiots in there who obviously spend waaaay too much time on themselves.

Re: Who will surface first?
God is a bastard with no mates, Jesus is the nice one.
Went to Carnival had a mediocre time til after about half an hour of queue got me in just in time to see our timmy make the other DJs look like YTS boys
He didn't look very happy though. Must've been a long weekend.

Must've been a long 45 years!
He was miserable as fuck when he got back last night. Even my birthday surprise of him following me round all my usual strip clubs which (at midnight monday) were totally devoid of customers OR fucking birds... even that failed to lift his spirits. Mind you he hates strip clubs. And me. So it wasn't the best present I got him... but it was the 1st... in about 20 + years of knowing him.
I am super jealous of not coming down for Junior Carter's Carnival though. Tim said it was very successful. "Successful" is a word tim uses instead of "good" when he's being uncharacteristically diplomatic.
I heard simply everyone was here

Re: Who will surface first?
We (Chico, the Carmella, Carmella's ladyfriend, the Ben and I) were there as well, but we'd been there since 3PM so we were a little fallen-down-the-stairs by that point.

Re: Who will surface first?
I couldn't find it. But I got a bit oppressed by the numbers so I had to escape!
It seems quite weird and a bit disappointing that things like Goodtimes have stuff like a proper logo and organised bars and stuff. for a carnival there didn't seem to be much dancing

ah the Chico! let me wager he was absurdly tall, got wankered on sniffing half a wine gum and danced around a lot being all lovely?

Re: Who will surface first?
Aye, i enjoyed Basics too. I saw Wookie there and i definately spoke to him, but i have no recollection whatsoever of what was said, nor did i know Doc Martin hadn't shown up until the day after.
I don't remember one song, where i was stood, who with, what i was doing or how i even got there.
It was a good night

Deary me.
I was very drunk. I'm not going out for a while now. Like, possibly never again.

Never heard of any of them but I would have personally burned the place down if I'd paid to see Doc Martin and he didn't show.

mmm
I can't say much but the word "cancelled" comes from the alternative dictionary of cock ups.
On the plus side if it wasn't for the punters of leeds, many of the clubs would have folded years ago. It was a success for the people this one.
Hats off to all of you too twatted to know what's going on!!

Re: Who will surface first?
I asked for my money back and got told to (and i quote) "fuck off".
basics is a fucking shambles and if I never go there again it will be too soon.
The people of Leeds deserve better.

Re: Who will surface first?
i agree
im going to go out on a lim here. Basics has been a mess for a few years now and it is all about solid fans keepin it alive. but Beer thinks it is all about him. i went just to see Doc. I would not step over there door otherwise. I wold no be surprised if he was never even booked.
ill never go again.
